We don’t think much about it because we believe dizziness when waking up is natural and harmless. after having a quality sleep when we wake up and suddenly feel dizziness or a blank head, it tensed us. Hypoglycemia (low sugar) causes dizziness when waking up

Glucose, a form of sugar, is the primary source of energy for every cell in the body. Because the brain is so rich in nerve cells, or neurons, it is the most energy-demanding organ, using one-half of all the sugar energy in the body.

Brain functions such as thinking, memory, and learning are closely linked to glucose levels and how efficiently the brain uses this fuel source. If there isn’t enough glucose in the brain, for example, neurotransmitters, the brain’s chemical messengers, are not produced and communication between neurons breaks down. In addition, hypoglycemia, a common complication of diabetes caused by low glucose levels in the blood, can lead to loss of energy for brain function and is linked to poor attention and cognitive function.   • An irregular or fast heartbeat.
  • Fatigue.
  • Pale skin.
  • Shakiness.
  • Anxiety.
  • Sweating.
  • Hunger.

We have to take medication to cure our disease and maintain a healthy life. But most of the powerful drug has few common side effects;

  • Constipation.
  • Skin rash or dermatitis.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Dizziness.
  • Drowsiness.
  • Dry mouth.
  • Headache.
  • Insomnia.

So if you are taking any medication and facing side effects including or excluding dizziness please contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Common drugs which cause dizziness or drowsiness as a side effect are;

antidepressants, anti-seizure drugs, blood pressure medications, allergy medicines, prostate drugs, and sedatives.

How to avoid dizziness in the morning?

  • Stay hydrated all day long. A 70 kg 6 feet adult person should drink at least 12 full glasses of water a day. If you do a hardworking job with a lot of physical work, drink more. Stay hydrated. Water is natural medicine. Which will keep you tuned for your life.
  • When waking up from sleep, please don’t rush. Already after reading the above discussion, you know how our balance system work. So, from lying position be seated on the bed. Then after a few seconds gently wake up. You can also keep a bottle of water beside your bed to drink and start a very good day.
  •   Avoid alcohol and smoking. Also try to avoid diuretics(caffeine, carbonated beverage, tea, etc.) 2/3 hours before sleep.
  • Don’t sleep on a hard pillow. Sleep comfortably on a soft pillow.
  • Sometimes long hair accelerates headache and dizziness. If you are a man/boy, try to short your hair and watch out if it’s work or not.
