Symptoms

There is no gender difference in this disorder. Both men and women are equally affected.

Marfan syndrome is present in the person from birth but the diagnosis is not possible during the birth. The diagnosis is possible when the person is in his/her adolescence.

Though the Marfan syndrome changes the same gene in every person, the signs and symptoms can be quite different.

Physical Examination

In the physical examination, the doctor will checkup the body, will ask you some questions about you and your health conditions. The doctor will search for any external signs and symptoms.
